Chungs Facility 

Our training facility, like our program is second to none.  Our newly remodeled very clean 2500 square foot gym was designed soley for Tae Kwon Do training.  It is entirely carpted with state of art foam gymnastics matting underneath for your protection.  It is equipped with four comtetive sized sparring floors for precise tournament training, a full sized mirrored wall for better visibility of your techniques and form, and is outfitted with the best equipment available for today's martial arts training.  We also provide changing rooms on site and a comfortable pick up waiting area for the parents.

Chung’s Training:

David Ki Young Chung has trained in the martial arts since the age of 9 and was one of the youngest ranking 4 degree black belts in the country. He was Junior Midwest Champion 2 consecutive years and has been Master instructor for over 22 years. At Chung’s Black Belt Academy the students learn  Tae Kwon Do.  The Korean values and history is an intricate portion of our training, which includes learning the philosophies of Tae Kwon Do as a martial art. Traditional Korean forms, discipline, respect and self defense are the most important focus at our academy. Not only do our students study the art of Tae Kwon Do, but learn many valuable life lessons along the way. We challenge our students to become better people.  Strong work ethic, patience, self confidence, manners and courtesy are just some of the attributes your child will develop while training with Master Chung. All of our students receive repeated etiquette lessons along with the attack and defense skills to build and strengthen their character. It is an important part of the Tae Kwon Do philosophy that we uphold the value of proper instruction. We provide some of the best training available for children and adults alike. We expect a full commitment from our students, and encourage them to carry on the lessons they learn into the world.

   

Tae Kwon Do for Adults:

Master Chung offers beginner through advance classes for adults.  Tae Kwon Do training can help adults relieve tension, increase stamina, lose weight, reduce stress, develop a new enthusiasm for life, gain confidence, improve coordination and stay in shape. Women who are concerned about safety often begin Tae Kwon Do training as a way to learn self defense.  Staying in shape through training is an added benefit from the sport. Men who want an aerobic workout, with more structure and diversity, love training in martial arts. If provides a strong cardiovascular workout with high level of personal challenge while relieving stress and tension. No one has to be in shape to start Tae Kwon Do: it is designed to help you get into shape.  We help you train based on your abilities.

Tae Kwon Do for Children:

Master Chung teaches children from ages 3-18. Tae Kwon Do helps youngsters learn discipline and respect for their elders. It makes good use of their abounding energy, and opens their imaginative minds. They often have a growing eagerness to excel not only in the martial arts, but also academically.  Thus, they gain the same pride in their accomplishments that is needed to be the future leaders of the world.
